Good Business Colorado (GBC) is looking for someone who believes in the GBC mission and can help take the organization to the next level. Seeking Mentors for GBC Policy Pitchfest Event
GBC is doing something totally new this year to prepare for the 2024 Legislative Session. It's a Policy Pitchfest with 8 teams and 1 goal - to develop a great policy pitch to legislators for a bill to benefit values-driven businesses.
Teams of GBC members will work with mentors to flesh out and refine their ideas before pitching them to a panel of current Colorado State Legislators during our 1st Ever GBC Conference on October 5th and 6th. The legislators will pick the best and readiest of the pitches which our members will vote on to choose our signature legislation for the year. We would like to have a mentor for each team who can guide them on what kind of research they will need to do and what components to include in their policy pitches so a legislator could take it to a drafter. Ideally that is someone with experience developing and running a bill.
