Policy
In 2023, the Colorado Composting Council assisted Recycle Colorado in the passing of SB23-191, the Organic Waste Diversion Study Bill. It passed by the House on party line vote – 46-19. It was signed into law May 17th, 2023.

Compost Operations Training Course (COTC)
Mark the Date! Compost Operations Training Course is coming to Grand Junction May 13th-17th!

This course provides up to date training on industry practices, as well as hands on training and the chance to tour local composting facilities to see how it all fits together. Take your composting knowledge to the next level and complete the training requirement for the Certified Compost Operations Manager and Certified Compost Professional certification programs.
