Recycling aluminum cans with shrink-wrap labels is presenting a challenge at our recycling centers. The aluminum can that should get recycled as aluminum is instead sorted as plastic due to its exterior plastic label. This round table will gather key stakeholders (brewers, labelers, can makers, processers) to thoughtfully discuss the issues that recycling facilities are experiencing with shrink-sleeve cans and work together to find a solution that works for everyone involved.
