Work is performed under the direction of the Community Development Director. The Sustainability Coordinator leads and coordinates various sustainability projects, programs and initiatives in collaboration with City departments and stakeholders. This position assists in the development, recommendation and implementation of strategies and plans to achieve sustainability goals in alignment with the Edgewater Sustainability Plan. In addition, this position creates and coordinates the social, economic and environmental aspects related to sustainability programs as well as to foster community leadership and provide a high level of customer service to stakeholders. Work is required outside the regular business hours and includes evenings and weekends.
